Student Life
Studies at ISLB, which are conducted according to higher education study programmes acknowledged by the Ministry of Science and Education, are dynamic and highly oriented towards individual needs of students, the formation of their practical competence and provision of essential knowledge required for a working career.
Today there are 2 faculties at ISLB: the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Management with a total number of 4,100 enrolled students and nearly 300 academics and practitioners, the majority of whom hold scientific degrees. The faculties implement seven study programmes, including Law, Tourism and Hotel Management, Business Management, Transport Management, Advertising Management, Accounting, and Finance, with a wide variety of business oriented specializations, such as Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Management of Beauty Services, Sales Management, Hotel Administration (also taught in English), Tourism Administration, Advertising and Communication Technologies, Advertising and Information Environment in Business, Logistics (also taught in English), and Organization and Management of Road Transport Companies.
ISLB offers two modes of studies: full-time studies (the duration is 3 years) and part-time studies (the duration is 4 years).
ISLB provides a range of market-oriented courses taught in English. They include courses in the area of business management, tourism and hotel administration, and international law. These courses are designed to offer students an opportunity to gain a broader knowledge and to receive specialized education in English provided by foreign and Lithuanian lecturers.
Currently International students can apply to four degree programmes taught in English:
1. Business Management
2. Tourism and Hotel Management
3. Marketing
4. International Business Law
5. International Finance
6. Business Information Technology
ISLB offers its students an opportunity to study on-line. All four programmes are available to study via internet.
Student Life
Students’ Council of International School of Law and Business unites active and creative students, encourages their self-expression. The aim of the Student’s Council is to protect students’ rights and interests.
The Council also holds various student events in the International School, e.g. “Freshmen’s Christening”, “Teacher Nominations”, organizes parties for Halloween and St. Valentine’s Day, which also are of interest to students from other higher education institutions.
Students have established basketball and football teams which represent International School of Law and Business in various sports competitions.
The Students’ Council willingly helps parentless children and children with special needs. The Council has taken part in the “Action of Fruition” and initiated the delivery of Christmas presents to Švenčionys Children Foster Home. Students also remembered socially supported families’ children of Viršuliškės district and children from “SOS Children Village”.

Council activities:
Development of various projects; organizing courses and seminars; organizing students’ contests; organizing of charity events; active search for sponsors and partners; development of studies’ quality; representation and protection of students’ interests; providing the students with diverse information.
Vision of the Council is to become an organization, which would work effectively, constantly develop and expand its activities.
SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Considering the students’ needs the International School establishes conditions for their sports activities. Every year basketball and football teams are being grouped and trained by experienced coaches. The basketball team participates in Lithuanian students’ basketball league among 24 best teams. Annual basketball tournament “Autumn Cup” is being organized.
New ideas and suggestions are always welcome.
